A web browser is one of the most frequently used programs. Many people don’t know the difference between a browser and the Internet. Today, the most popular web browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Explorer (a Windows platform). Together they hold 98% of the market.
The websites and web pages you view with your browser are created by different people for different purposes; sometimes they might have too large text, sometimes the text might appear too small.
The quickest way to customize the font size of a web page in Windows is scrolling the mouse wheel with the CTRL key pressed:
Unfortunately, these commands won’t apply if you use a laptop because it is equipped with a touchpad instead of a mouse. In this case, the commands below can be used:
The plus and minus can be pressed on both main keyboard and numeric keypad.
All these commands are equally applicable in all the browsers. Web browsers usually remember the scale you used for a certain website and show it accordingly the next time you visit this website automatically.

Increase font size in memoQ!
Lately we found the way to change font size in Trados Studio. A similar problem occurs in memoQ too: for some reason the needed options happen to be hidden far in the software maze.
To change the screen font size in memoQ, select memoQ > Options > Options:
The Options dialog box appears. On the left panel choose Appearance, move to the right and specify the language, font and font size, and then press the ОК key:
As a result, an unreadable small text like this (point size 8 here):
...can be made much more visually pleasing (point size 11 here):

Customize font size in Trados Studio!
Sometimes the font in Trados Studio documents appears to be too small and inconvenient to work with. Like this:
The font in Trados Studio can be increased. Unfortunately, it must be done in a non-trivial way.
Press File > Options > on the left panel choose Font Adaptation. On the right panel four number fields will appear standing for minimum and maximum font size of text sections in source and target languages. Increase these numbers. They may be different for different languages (a language choice field is located in this very dialog window below). For obvious reasons, the maximum number must be bigger than the minimum one.
We recommend to set 12 for minimum font size and 14 for maximum font size:
After pressing OK button, you’ll have the font size changed:
