Elia NDFocus 2017 is finished!
The second of this year’s Elia Focus conference for Executives was recently held on the Greek island of Crete, in the magnificent five-star spa resort, Avra Imperial Beach Resort, in the small village of Kolymbari, near Chania.
The place and time of the meeting were not chosen by chance. Here, on the warm coast of the Mediterranean Sea, CEOs and owners of companies not only worked but also enjoyed communication with colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere. Many participants came to the conference with their families.
The conference began informally with drinks and dinner at the hotel restaurant, and on the second day, in the morning, the participants split into 2 courses:
1st course: Mission, Vision, Management
This was devoted to mergers and acquisitions in the industry, and the moderator was Tayen Ho.
2nd course: Client experience as a growth strategy.
We chose the 2nd course, dedicated to working with clients. We were fascinated by the speaker, Neil Payne, head of the company Commisceo Global United. Under his leadership, we worked in small groups, analyzing how “customer service” differs from “customer experience”, and how to increase customer loyalty.
The highlight of the conference was dinner at a famous restaurant, where the legendary film “Zorba the Greek” was filmed, and where many famous personalities have eaten over the years—Winston Churchill, George Bush, Greek presidents and ministers, the actor Anthony Quinn, and many others.
Magnificent Greek cuisine and incendiary traditional dances, in which all guests participated, without exception, made this evening unforgettable.
Thank you, Elia!
